Not a Clasp account — sixteen bytes, made on your device and shown to you once. They are a standard XRP Ledger seed. Re-encoded, the very same bytes are a standard twelve-word phrase. That is why one backup covers both chains, and why it opens in wallets that have never heard of us.

The passkey is convenience — it rebuilds the same bytes on every touch, and holds nothing between them. The seed is ownership.
